Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 15, 2026

This policy explains how ElliotSop Security Inc. (“ElliotSop,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through elliotsop.com. We are a Canadian federal corporation based in Toronto, Ontario. We keep data collection deliberately minimal: this website has no user accounts, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

1. What we collect

Through the contact form, and only because you choose to send it: your name, email address, company name (optional), and the contents of your message.

Automatically, for security only: your IP address is processed transiently to rate-limit form submissions and protect against abuse. It is not stored in a database and is not used to identify, track, or profile you.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to read and respond to the inquiry you send us. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any secondary purpose. By submitting the form, you consent to our using your information to reply to you (implied consent under PIPEDA and CASL).

3. How it is stored, and for how long

Form submissions are delivered as email to a mailbox on mail infrastructure we operate and control. We do not use a third-party email marketing or analytics processor. We retain inquiry emails for up to 24 months to maintain continuity on ongoing conversations and engagements, after which they are deleted — unless a longer period is required to perform a contracted engagement or to meet a legal obligation. You may ask us to delete your inquiry sooner; see Your Rights.

4. Disclosure to others

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information only where required by law, or to a professional advisor (such as legal counsel) under a duty of confidentiality. Our infrastructure runs on a hosting provider that may process data on our behalf under its own security obligations; we do not grant it access to your inquiries for its own purposes.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics. No cookie-consent banner is required to use the site. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism before any such technology is enabled.

6. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law — including PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25 — you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7. Privacy Officer

ElliotSop Security has designated a Privacy Officer responsible for our handling of personal information and for responding to access, correction, and deletion requests:

Prince Adeshina, Director
ElliotSop Security Inc.
contact@elliotsop.com

8. Quebec residents (Law 25)

If you are a resident of Quebec, Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) applies to your information. The Privacy Officer named above is responsible for our Law 25 compliance. You have the rights described above, including the right to request that we cease using or disseminating your information. A French-language version of this policy is available on request and will be provided before personal information is collected in the course of providing services to Quebec clients.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date shown above.
