Human Rights Policy & Grievance Mechanism
ElliotSop Security Inc. (“ElliotSop”) is committed to respecting and upholding internationally recognized human rights and labor standards — including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, core labor standards of the International Labor Organization, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child — in all aspects of its operations.
Our Commitments
- Prohibition of child labor, forced labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking in any form.
- Non-discrimination and equal opportunity.
- Respect for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.
- A safe working environment and fair compensation.
- No engagement of private or public security forces.
- Respect for legally established land, property, and tenure rights — including, given our work with Inuit-owned and Inuit-affiliated businesses in Nunavut, explicit respect for the rights set out in UNDRIP and the Nunavut Agreement (Article 24).
Report a Concern
Any employee, contractor, client, business partner, or other third party who believes this policy has been violated may raise a concern at any time, in writing, to contact@elliotsop.com. Complaints will be acknowledged within 5 business days and reviewed within 15 business days. Confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible, and no retaliation will be taken against anyone raising a good-faith concern. Records are retained for a minimum of seven years.
